About True Colors United
True Colors United (formerly the True Colors Fund) was founded in 2008 by Grammy and Emmy award-winning artist and advocate Cyndi Lauper, alongside Lisa Barbaris, Jonny Podell, and Gregory Lewis.
In America, up to 4.2 million youth experience homelessness each year. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth are 120% more likely to experience homelessness than their non-LGBTQ peers.
True Colors United is all about celebrating the different strengths that different people bring to the table, and applying those strengths toward one united goal: ending youth homelessness.
